This site ("we", "us") describes DebugDad LLC's custom website services and lets you reach us to discuss a project. Browsing this site or sending us a message does not, on its own, create any engagement between you and DebugDad LLC.
An actual engagement is governed by a Master Services Agreement (signed once) and a Statement of Work (signed per project), both delivered to you by email after we've talked, not hosted on this site. If anything on this site conflicts with a signed Master Services Agreement or Statement of Work, the signed agreement controls.
When you submit the contact form, you're sending us your name, contact information, and a description of what you need. We use it to reply and, if it makes sense, to prepare a Statement of Work. Sending an inquiry creates no obligation on either side; we're not committed to taking on your project, and you're not committed to hiring us, until both parties sign an agreement.
If you have an existing site hosted by DebugDad from before this offer changed, its billing, cancellation, and hosting terms continue under the agreement you originally signed. Contact us at contact@debugdad.com with any questions about an existing hosted site.
On a signed engagement, you own the completed site, its design, and its visible content once final payment clears. DebugDad retains the right to reuse general-purpose code, components, and techniques developed during a project in other work, excluding your specific content, branding, and business logic, and retains the right to display a completed project in its own portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
If you believe content on a DebugDad-hosted site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to contact@debugdad.com identifying the work, its location, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We'll respond promptly.
Don't use this site to submit anything illegal, fraudulent, or abusive, and don't attack, scrape, or otherwise abuse it. We may refuse to respond to an inquiry that violates this section.
This site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, DebugDad isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Liability for a signed engagement is set by that engagement's Master Services Agreement, not by this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you have a concern, email us first; we'd rather sort things out directly.
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use this site after a change takes effect means you accept it.
